Democratic Agriculturist’s Association Nepal (DAAN) is an organization established by professionals actively working in the fields of agriculture, animal services, and food technology, based on democratic values, with the aim of making Nepal’s agriculture sector — which has been significantly contributing to the national economy — more productive, commercial, dignified, and employment-oriented. It is dedicated to providing technical services to the general Nepali farmers and agri-entrepreneurs.

This organization is committed to bringing together national and international experts in the aforementioned fields to further contribute to the development of agriculture in the country.

DAAN operates as a non-governmental social organization, registered under the Organization Registration Act 2034 B.S., with the goal of enhancing the effectiveness and relevance of existing agricultural development efforts. It seeks to achieve the national objectives of sustainable and broad-based economic development through poverty alleviation, food and nutrition security, promotion of self-employment, and industrial development.
